Why People Reach Out

You do not need perfect words to begin.

Therapy often starts with something that feels hard to name, but hard to keep carrying alone.

  • Anxiety and overwhelm: Panic, stress, emotional flooding, shutdown, or a nervous system that does not settle.
  • Trauma and dissociation: Old pain, numbness, fragmentation, or survival patterns that still shape the present.
  • Family and relationship strain: Conflict, disconnection, caregiving stress, or painful roles that keep repeating.
  • Identity and transition: Questions of direction, belonging, burnout, self-trust, or major life change.
